We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2024, at the age of 82, Rebecca C. (Sills) Kakabar in Conemaugh, Pennsylvania, born in Cumberland, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband James Ronald "Homer" Kakabar; her parents, Harold Sills and Rita Sills (Grabenstein); her brother Richard "Dick" Sills; her in-laws, Michael "Kelly" and Marian Kakabar (Krestar); and her stepmother-in-law Dorothy Bizzari.

She is survived by : her sons, Ronald Timothy "Tim" (Carole) of Thomas James and Daniel Scott "Scott" (Kristine); her grandchildren, Allison (Geoffrey Warholak), Sara, Sidney and Gabrielle; her brother Robert Sills (Genie); and also, Brock, Dianna, Alek Hupkovich, Paul and Cindy Gartland.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home (630 Cedar St, Beaverdale, PA 15921). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (751 Locust St, St Michael, PA 15951).
