She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Smith and Mae Smith (Keslar); and her brother Jack Smith. She is survived by: her son Rex Turney; her sister Geraldine Smith; her daughters, Kathy Leo-Kohr (Dwayne Kohr), Cheryl Hyson (David) and DeeAnn Nickelson; her grandchildren, Joseph Leo (Anna), Alexander Hillberry (Elisa), Gage Turney and J. C. Nickelson; and her sisters, Marlyn Dwire (Roy) and Sarah Fitzpatrick (George).
