It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Oleksa of Conemaugh, Pennsylvania, born in Brownstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 26, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas L. Gallagher and Anna Gallagher (Scheer); her husband Paul Oleksa; and her siblings, Joseph, Bernadette, Rita, Patricia, Richard and Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Paula M. (Larry Birk) and Thomas P. Oleksa (Robin); her granddaughters, Angela M. Kmett (David Kmett) of Mifflinburg, PA and Michelle A. Reid (Tony Reid) of Northumberland, PA; her great grandchildren, Kaiden D., Kolton W. Kmett, Isabella R., Avery and Tyson Reid; her brother James Gallagher (Jane); and her sisters-in-law, Linda Gallagher and Barbara Jenkins.
