He was predeceased by: his parents, Dostas Elias and Amanda Yost (Spiker); his wife Donna Mae Yost (Avila); his son William Nickolas "Billy" Yost; and his siblings, Richard Yost, James Yost, Grace Boyer, Catherine Kulich, Marge Huber, Robert and Shirley Yost.
He is survived by: his close friend Shirley Faight; his sons, Luis Dean Yost, David John Yost and Anthony Ray "Tony" Yost; and his sister Dorothy Peterson. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
