With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Nemetz in Conemaugh, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 16, 2021 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona Nemetz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Pitman and Philomena Pitman (Kausse); her husband John Nemetz Jr.; and her siblings, Florence Updyke, Bertha Lucas, Margaret Pitman, Ralph Pitman, Eleanor Harpchak and Betty Langham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia L. (Sam Genovese) of Boca Raton, FL and Donna J. Palko (John Campagna). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army in memory of Leona Nemetz.
