Joseph Prave IV Obituary

Prave – Joseph Leo IV, 29, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord, on August 29, 2020 in Bensalem, PA. Born on May 21, 1991 in Johnstown, son of Joseph Leo Prave III, Johnstown, and the late Diane Treese. In addition to his father, he is survived by his son, Joseph Leo Prave V; maternal grandmother, Toni Ressler, Johnstown, paternal grandmother, Gail Prave, Johnstown; sisters, Christine Munoz, Johnstown, Alexxis (Devin) Hoffman, West Point, NY ; brother, Ralph Munoz Jr., Nanty Glo; fiancée, Nadia Etemad, Philadelphia; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Joey had one of the most beautiful souls. Though he faced many struggles, he was always compassionate, loved to help, and inspire others. Joey was often silly and his big smile was contagious. He had an innate ability to warm the hearts of others. Joey was athletic with a love for sports, especially skate boarding which he recently was able to share with his son.

He was dedicated to his personal growth and recovery. Joey loved life and his family immensely, especially his son. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Jim Gay officiating. Private burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions be directed to a charity of one's choice in memory of Joey.
