She was predeceased by: her parents, John Puhala and Jennie Puhala (Basista); her husband James; her son Michael; her siblings, Vivian (Paul Brown) and Richard; and her brother-in-law Joseph Spampinato.
She is survived by: her sister Joan Spampinato; her sister-in-law Carol Puhala (Grey); her stepdaughters, Barbara Kusher (Frank) and Marcia Holt; and her nieces, Terri (Jon), Paula (David) and Alexis. She is also survived by 6 step grandchildren, 6 step great-grandchildren and 6 step great great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Transfiguration Conemaugh (220 Oak St, Conemaugh, PA 15909).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Transfiguration or to the charity of your choice, in memory of Gertrude Fiscus.
