He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Shaffer and Freda Shaffer (Wolford); his brothers, Jack and Bill Yoder; and his grandson Nathan Kiss (Joan "Sis" Shaffer).
He is survived by: his children, William Kiss (Alita) of Huntington, Christine Kiss (Herbert Britton III) and Patricia Kiss of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Aaron Knupp, Nicole Kiss, Jimmy Britton (Brittany) and Samantha Britton (Dale Gray); his great grandchildren, Connor Knupp, Dale Gray, John, Roberta, Don and Diane; his pet Nugget; and his wife Alzheimers.
