He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank L. Smyers and Helen L. Smyers (Sostakowski). He is survived by: his siblings, Therese Smyers of Soldier, Larry Smyers (Monica) of DuBois and Richard Smyers (Bonnie) of Reynoldsville. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
