We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2018, at the age of 92, Alfonso Embry (Conemaugh, Pennsylvania), born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dordge Embry and Mary Embry (Knaff); his siblings, William Embry and Estella Scholfield (Claude); his granddaughter Autumn Singleton; and his brothers-in-law, Howard Peoples and Bobby Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Marlene Embry (Clawson); and his children, Otis Stradford (Paula), Carolyn Fisher (Herman), Virgil Embry (Cindy), Dodge Embry (Roxanne), LuGene Clemons (George), Pamela Powell (Michael), Michael Embry (Toni), Alfonso Embry, Jr. (Diana), Kenneth Embry (Monica) and Deneen Smith (Thomas).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Beulah Baptist Church, 778 N. 5th Avenue, Indiana, PA 15701.
