He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Nye and Helena Wingert Nye; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Cook, Sr. and Gregory Flook. He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Gamble Nye; his children, Hunter Nye (Danielle Varner) of Dry Run and Hailey Junkin (Logan) of Fannettsburg; his granddaughter Tulsi Eva Junkin; and his sisters, Brenda Maddy (Robert) of Mechanicsburg, Cheryl Cook of Shippensburg and Rosalie Flook of Waynesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
