She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Y. Claypoole and Daisy Pisor Claypoole; and her husband Harold Stoughton. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Thomas L. Stoughton (Susan) of Florence, SC, JoAnn Reed (Ray) of Deltona, FL, Arlene Smith (John) of Chicora and Lewis Stoughton (Stacy) of Chicora. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two sisters.
