With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene (Toth) Makin of Colver, Pennsylvania, born in Strongstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 30, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Toth and Esther Toth; her husband Carl; her sons, David and Bruce; her siblings, Albert, Joseph, Steve Toth, Helen Raimondi, Margaret Wszolek, Ethel Buck, Julia DeBiase and Betty Shutter; her son-in-law Kevin Bodenschatz; and her brothers-in-law, Russell and John Makin.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Makin and Cathy Valiton; her children-in-law, Robert Valiton, Gail Makin of Athens, GA. and Janet Makin; her sisters, Ida Kovacic (Robert) and Mary Rudolph of Levittown, NY.; and her brothers-in-law, Walter Makin (Marge), Bradford and James Makin (Bonnie). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
