He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Styer; his granddaughter Nicole Styer; his brothers, Lester Styer, Jr. and Art Mummaw, Jr.; and his stepfather Arthur Mummaw, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Bill Styer, Jr. (April Campbell) of Kissimmee, FL, Jodi (Keary Smith) of Columbia and Peggy (Joe Spiese) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Carlyle Styer, Dylan Smith, Brady Smith, Brett Spiese and Brynn Spiese; and his siblings, Rose (late Jim Coonan) of Manheim and Sam Mummaw of Lancaster. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
