It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon Baum (Columbia, Pennsylvania), born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Miriam Baum (Haines); and his children, Elizabeth Ann, Christine and Mark. He is survived by: his spouse Phyllis Baum (Risser); his son Eric (Carol) of Oyster Bay, NY; his stepchildren, Matthew Carson of Acton, MA, Meghan Carson of Lemoyne and Michael Carson (Ladan) of Mountville; his grandchildren, Leila, William, Clement, Forrest and Matthew Carson; and his siblings-in-law, Jay Risser (Cindy), Walter H. Risser, Jr., Joanne Longenecker, Chris Oliver and Lisa Burnett (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
