She was predeceased by: her husband John McFarland; her parents, James Steigerwalt and Florence Steigerwalt (Rausch); and her children, Debra Heintzelman, Patricia Flyte, Gary Christman and Edgar "Junny" Christman.
She is survived by: her sons, Barry Christman, Sr. of Danielsville, Carl Christman of Lehighton and Larry D. (Tracy McFarland) of Palmerton. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren. 18 great-grandchildren.
