He was predeceased by: his wife Anna K. "Toots" Mowrer; his parents, Amos Mowrer and Mary Gehring Mowrer; and his siblings, Anna, Grace, Amos, Len, Charles and Paul. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the church from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church.
