He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Brown and Geraldine Geesey Brown; his wife Barbara Edmond Brown; his daughter Regina Sprenkle; and his sisters, Nancy Dunker and Elaine Fraiser.

He is survived by: his children, Lonnie C. Brown, Jr. (Christine) of Wrightsville, Lorie Ann (Daniel Michels) of Silver Spring, Kenneth (Rachel Bosley) of Mechanicsburg and Sarah (Outhai Loy) of Landisville; his siblings, Raymond (Bonnie Brown) of Columbia and Mildred Dosch of Columbia; and his pet Zeus. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
