He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Nikolaus and Anna Nikolaus (Crom); and his wife Barbara Ann Nikolaus (Roth). He is survived by: his children, Lisa Martin (George Martin) and David Nikolaus (Mary Ann); his grandchildren, Andrew Nikolaus, Jordan Nikolaus, Lindsay Distasi (Michael Distasi) and Heather Martin; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn Nikolaus and Olivia Nikolaus.
