He was predeceased by: his parents, William Haupt and Gynieth Haupt; and his children, Jesse and Daniel Haupt. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Dommel of Columbia; his children, Jaime (Andy Mease) of Senatobia, MS, Eric Dommel of Carlisle, Nicole Dommel (Ashby Thomas) of Carlisle, John Haupt, Jr. of Bainbridge, Amanda Haupt of Columbia, Cody Haupt of Philadelphia, Megan Haupt (Tyler Truitt) of Columbia, Kristen Haupt (Cody Jumbelick) of Lancaster, Melissa Haupt of Columbia, Airelle Haupt of Tower City and Tyler (Kandi Haupt) of Wisconsin; and his siblings, Andria Sharpe of Lancaster, Gynieth Stonesifer of Columbia and Bill (Barb Haupt) of Anvil. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Joy Cemetery (275 Terrace Rd, Mount Joy, PA 17552).
