He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Fisher and Elizabeth Beiler Fisher; and his siblings, Levi, Jonas, Amos, Elmer, Hannah Stoltzfus and Mary Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Fannie S. Petersheim Fisher; his children, Mary (late Junior Miller) of Sarasota, FL, Sallie (Robert Burkholder), John Jr. (Kim Esbenshade Fisher), Robert (Lisa Blantz Fisher) and Brenda (Brad Groff); his siblings, Elam (Annie Fisher) and Katie (late Melvin Stoltzfus); and his sister-in-law Emma Fisher. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
