He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Sr. and Adele Smeltzer Amand; his wife Fern Stief Amand; and his siblings, Clair, Frank and Jean.
He is survived by: his children, John H. III (Linda Amand) of Lititz, James L. (Janice Amand) of Lititz, David L. (Pamela Amand) of Schaefferstown and Susan M. (Lester Sweigart) of Lititz; his grandchildren, April, Crystal, Jimmie, Mandy, Katie, Erin, Alicia and Adam; and his siblings, Lowell, Kitty, Janet, Dot and Carole. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Henry's memory to the Lititz Church of the Brethren.
