He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Garner and Mae Garner; and his brothers, Jim and Charlie Garner. He is survived by: his wife Susan Zurin Garner of Columbia; his children, Trevor Garner of Columbia, Laura Garner of Columbia, Todd Garner of York and Tammy Waples of York; his grandchildren, Ewan, Tyler, Corey, Noland, Skylar and Keira; and his siblings, Marlene Long of Columbia, Bud (Daun Garner) of Yorkanna, Joanne Knaub of Wrightsville, Herb (Pat Garner) of East Prospect and Larry (Joanne Garner) of Glen Rock.
