He was predeceased by: his parent Ellsworth Sweigart; and his siblings, Verna Gerhart, Victor Sweigart and Clarence Sweigart. He is survived by: his parent Martha Steinmetz Sweigart; his children, Pamela, Hibshman of Lititz, Dawn Sweigart of Columbia, Laura Jean Bell of Virginia, Gail Sweigart of Lancaster, Janet Ernst of Texas and James Sweigart of Denver; and his siblings, Ellsworth Sweigart Jr. of Akron, Warren Sweigart, Irene Miller of Lititz and Eleanor Hertzog.
