She was predeceased by: her spouse Glen Shank, Jr.; her parents, Amos Hitz and Stella Ober Hitz; her children, Gloria J. Shank, Robert E. and George D. Shank; and her siblings, Jacob Hitz, Mary Hartman, Ezra Hitz, Richard Hitz and Elizabeth McAfee.
She is survived by: her children, Carol A. Nickey (Stephen), Helen I. Chapman, Tracey L. Rosado, Yvonne J. Reinhart, Charles R. Shank (Linda), Glen E. Shank (Cheryl) and Daniel J. Shank (Kimberly); and her brother Jay Hitz. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grand-children.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. (519 Walnut St, Columbia, PA 17512).
