He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene T. Johnston, Sr. and Evelyn M. Johnston. He is survived by: his daughter Sara Elizabeth Johnston; his granddaughter Emma Ann; his siblings, Michael Johnston, Eric Johnston, Elizabeth Johnston, Kathleen Johnston and Elissa Eshleman (Scott); and his aunt Ruth Schaal. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
