He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Rick" Bechtold II. He is survived by: his children, Emily P. Vargas (Esteban) and Edward R. McKinney, Jr. (Taylor); his friend James Buffenmyer (Jenn); his brother Tommy McKinney (Jamie); his nephew Eric (Tammy); his niece Jess; and his sons, Ollie, Henry, Harley and Odi.
