He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John N. Pelen and Phyllis Shortlidge Pelen; his daughters, Lyn Pelen (Brian Schreiner) and Donielle Pelen; his grandchildren, Jarrett Schreiner, Nicholas Schreiner and Kylee Keller; his great grandchild Ava Schreiner; his brother Robert "Buzz"; his spouse Frances Pelen of Columbia, PA; and his sister Sara (Orville Young) of Marietta, PA.. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces and a nephew.
