She is survived by: her children, Eric Poindexter of Columbia, Arthur (Veronica Poindexter) of Columbia and Whitney (Alexander Ortiz) of Hellam; her sister Deitra; and her siblings-in-law, Terrie Edmond of Columbia, Nancy Poindexter of Columbia, Vivian Colon of Columbia, Robert (Shirley Poindexter) of Columbia and Gerald (Elaine Poindexter) of Columbia. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
