She was predeceased by: her parents, James P. McKelvey and Cecilia C. McKelvey (Sander). She is survived by: her husband Thomas W. Oakes Jr.; her former husband Joseph C. O'Connor; her children, Thomas W. Oakes III, Tina Oakes, Kathy Young (Steve), Ginny Lucas (Ed), Janie Kreiter (Doug), Suzy Wojcik (Bernie), Dan Oakes, Nancy Oakes (Eric Hollander) and PJ Oakes; her grandchildren, Chris Oakes, Meaghan, Sarah, Stephen, Julia, Monica Young, Jim (Hannah), Tom Lucas, Natalie, Nicole, Nadia and Noelle Wojcik; her great grandchild Aria Oakes; and her sister Teresa Caimi. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many cousins and cherished friends.
