He was predeceased by: his spouse Anna Mae Burns (Ries); and also Mary Burns (Kelly). He is survived by: his parents, Charles F. Burns and Mary A. Burns; his stepson Charles J. of Gainesville, VA; his brother Robert Burns of Texas; his grandchildren, Falynn Kelly and John Kelly; and his brothers, Frank Burns, Jack Burns and Dick Burns. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
