With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Amygdalos (College Hill, Pennsylvania), born in Athens, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 12, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dimitrios Louris and Matina Kapogianatou Louris; and her husband Andrew Amygdalos. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Michael A. Amygdalos (Christine), William D. Amygdalos and Julia Amygdalos Oldenburg (Charles); her grandchildren, Andrew M. Amygdalos, Olivia R. Amygdalos, Maria H. Oldenburg, Sarah E. Oldenburg and Samantha N. Oldenburg; her siblings, George (Georgia Louris), Elias (Irene Louris), Paul (Sophia Louris), Fanourios (Alida Louris) and Rose; her brother-in-law Emmanuel Haviaras; and her niece Julie Finikiotis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 2930 Beaver Road, Ambridge, PA 15003.
