He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rada Basara and Martha Beckage Basara; his wife Carol Ruetschi Basara; his daughter Barb Zelensky (Ron) of Belle Vernon, PA; his stepdaughter Sandy Cottrell of West Alexander, PA; his siblings, Ronald Basara and Anne Sulivan; and his stepson Douglas Alexander. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
