It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Deland Jr. of Cogan Station, Pennsylvania, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. DeLand, Sr. and Marion DeLand (Bortel); and his siblings, Charles DeLand and Marion Warren. He is survived by: his wife Joanne L. DeLand (McKelvey); his children, Kevin DeLand (Ann) of New York, Rick DeLand (Lisa) of New York, Walter DeLand III (Sharon) of New York, Debbie Etzler (Terry) of California, Suzanne Morales (Carlos) of Florida and Michael DeLand (Kelly) of Williamsport; his sister Linda Lankford of Tennessee; and his friend Nina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
