He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Plank and Agnes Plank (Harvey); his wife Stella (Hornberger); and his children, John and Debra.
He is survived by: his son Thomas; his stepchildren, Curtis, Alfred Muffley, Frances Ulsamer, Susan Graff and Wanda Derr; and his sister Phyllis Heller. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
