He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Mendler and Beatrice M. Mendler (Kahler); his brother Gary P. Mendler; and his niece Michele Mendler. He is survived by: his daughter Sheena Utter; his grandchildren, Alexis, Blake, Hailey and Hanna DeBrody; his great grandchild Malakai DeBrody; his friend Barbara Kiessling of Rome, PA; his siblings, James Mendler (late Velvet Bartlow) of Hughesville Sherry, Sambora (George) of Mountain Top and Beth Amos (Thomas) of Williamsport; and his nephews, James A. Mendler, Cody Amos and Tyler Amos.
