He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Hitzeman and Erma L. Hitzeman (Hoffman); his sister Mary Hitzeman; and his half-brother Gary Cramer. He is survived by: his wife Diane M. Hitzeman (Solarek); his daughters, Alicia "Ali" M. Long (Chris) of East Berlin and Traci L. Foster (Jon) of Williamsport; his grandsons, Jack and Phin Foster; his brother William "Bill" Hitzeman (Lynda) of Gettysburg; and his half-sister Patricia Berry of Florida.
