It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Arthur Schon of Cogan Station, Pennsylvania, born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jennings and Regina Schon (Ulmer); and his brother Clair Schon. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Ellen Hyde; his children, Christina Rogers (Christopher), Michael Schon (Ronda) and Matthew Schon (Louanne); his stepchildren, Bernardine Hess (Chris), Tina Myers, LeRoy Paulhamus (Glenna), Rodney Paulhamus (Karen) and Ronald Paulhamus (Sondra); his siblings, Cecil Schon (Fern), Clyde Schon (Ruth) and Thelma Houseknecht; and his sister-in-law Kathy Schon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
