We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Ann Ankney of Cochranville, Pennsylvania, born in Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel H. Herr and Henrietta Johnson Herr; and her siblings, Esther, Beulah Herr, Florence Sheaffer, Mary Deitrich, Janet Fair, John, Paul, Daniel, Richard and Frank Herr.
She is survived by: her husband Charles C. Ankney Jr.; her grandchildren, Charles IV (Chad), Kristen, Trevor, Hanna Ankney, Zachary Dignan, Jennifer and Daniel Goldhahn; and her great grandchildren, Charles V (CJ), Stetson, Isaac, Vincent, Maxwell, Myles Ankney, Ethan Dignan and Cali Richard. She is also survived by two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruth Ann's memory may be made to the Cleft Palate Clinic in Lancaster or Manor Presbyterian Church.
