She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Cole of Maine and Laura Lamborn Cole; and her brother Ronald H. Cole. She is survived by: her husband William Thomas Benning; her siblings, Charles A. "Chuck" Cole (Mary Jane) of Cochranville, Mark A. Cole (Claudia) of Cochranville, David K. Cole (Betsy) of Cochranville and Rebecca Cole "Becky" Taylor (Thomas) of Cochranville; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Cole Wineberg of Honey Brook.
