He was predeceased by: his parent Joy Fritz Armstrong. He is survived by: his spouse Lorraine Barlow Armstrong; his parent James C. Armstrong of Harrisburg, PA; his stepdaughters, Tina Nunn of Cochranville, PA, Barbara Price and Darlene Hughes; and his siblings, Linda Joy Armstrong of Camp Hill, PA, Daniel Armstrong of Lincoln University, PA, David A. Armstrong of Lenape, PA, John D. Armstrong of Williamsburg, VA, Stephen P. Armstrong of Warren, PA and Andrew G. Armstrong of Linwood, PA. He is also survived by two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made to the William W. Fahey Post # 491, 208 East State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348 or to the Disabled American Veterans, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805.
