He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Johnson Laffey; his parents, George J. Laffey and Ann Moulder Laffey; his daughter Linda L. Arkles; and his siblings, Anne Young, Jean Mackey, George L. Laffey and John M. Laffey.
He is survived by: his children, Robert M. (Martha) of Unionville, John F. (Linda S.) of Unionville, Deborah L. (John Gallagher) of Lancaster and Diane L. (Karim Rouine) of Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Elise Dorr-Dorynek, Gabriel Arkles, Jeffery Arkles, Elizabeth Laffey, Robert Laffey, Jr., Amy Cregar, Kelly Barnes, Tara Pellini, Laura Kerezsi, Thomas Laffey, Katlyn Lloyd, Jeremy Elder, Emily Elder, Aliya Rouine and Amina Rouine; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Juliet, Sophia and Antoine Rahim; and his siblings, Norman L. Laffey of Cochranville and Lydia Leo of West Chester.
