He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Francis Petry and Anne Tittinger Petry; and his brother Michael Petry. He is survived by: his wife Catharine Spanier Petry; his children, Catharine P. Griffith (Brooke), Marie P. Bruecks (Brian), Jeffrey Petry (Kim) and Gregory Petry (Carole Heys); his grandchildren, Morgan Griffith, Sumner Griffith, Tristan Bruecks, Cassandra Bruecks, Charlotte Bruecks, Zoey Petry and Kylie Petry; and his siblings, Raymond Petry, Elise Petry Combs, Paul Petry, Anne Petry O'Laughlin and David Petry.

Viewing was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Assumption BVM Catholic Church (290 State Rd, West Grove, PA 19390). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:45 PM and at 1:00 PM.
