She was predeceased by: her husband Luther Underwood, Jr.; her parents, Millard Willis and Mamie Johnson Willis Pate; her son David F. Underwood, Sr.; and her siblings, Elsie Onks, Bessie Barnett, Chester Willis, Richard Pate and Kenneth Pate.
She is survived by: her children, Norman L. Underwood (Becky) of Bloomfield, NY, Catherine Buzalewski (Robert) of Reinholds, PA, Joseph C. Underwood (Marie) of West Grove, Nancy Astheimer of Cochranville, PA and Robert P. Underwood (Catherine) of New Holland, PA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
