It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Ellen Allen in Cochranton, Pennsylvania, born in Martinsville, Indiana, who passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Brown and Potter; her stepmother Beatrice Brown (Miles); her siblings, Sandra Brown, Marjorie Burris, Phillip Brown and Glen Miles; and her nephew Sam Miles.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Dennison (Paul) of Waynesboro, VA, Rachel Hamman (Donnie) of White Post, VA and Wesley Allen (Jean) of Harrisonburg, VA; her grandchildren, Brian Dennison, Elliott Hamman, Adrian Dennison, Phillip Dennison, Dawnette Sulser (Billy) and Amber Thompson (Garrett); her great grandchildren, Natalie, Ashlynn, Caleb and Carson; and her brothers, Don Miles (Mary) of Spartanburg, SC, Gordon Brown (Donna) of Spencer, IN, Kenneth Brown (Sally) of Bloomfield, IN and Joe Brown of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Winchester Medical Center for the excellent care she received during her battle with Covid, Bestcare Home Care for their help with her rehab, Aveanna Home Health, and all the amazing staff and volunteers at Blue Ridge Hospice.
