It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Wagler (Cochranton, Pennsylvania), born in Loogootee, Indiana, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Wagler and Mary Wagler (Stoll); his wife Gertrude E. Wagler (Mast); his brothers, Clyde Wagler (Miriam) and Daniel Wagler (Edna); and his son-in-law Stephen Thomas.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Faith Riddering (Aaron) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Charlene K. Schlabach (Nathan) of Sarasota, FL, Cheryl Byler (William Devereaux) of Sandy Lake and Larry Wagler (Betty) of Sandy Lake; his great grandchildren, Isabella Riddering, Annah Lucia, Keziah, Kaleb, Hannah Schlabach, Tyler, Heather, Josh Schlabach (Rachel), Kanisha Byler, Devon, Matthew Wagler (Lauren), Rodney Wagler (Jamie) and Todd Wagler (Ashley); and his siblings, Sylvia Yoder (late Aaron), Dorothy Miller (late Mark), Victor Wagler (Ann), Alma Miller (Jim), Owen Wagler (Judy), Lois Sommers (Mervin), Rose Stoll (Abe), Duane Wagler (Kathy), Simon Wagler Jr. (Treva) and Ruth Kaufman (Rick). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
