It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Frank Carlson Sr. of Cochranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust Carlson and Ruth Carlson (Welchone); his grandson David Ellison; his siblings, William Carlson, Elwood Carlson, Jean Catherman and Maxine Nelson; and his uncle Bill Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Gayle McClintock; his children, Tracey Byerly (Larry), Carl Frank Carlson, Jr. (Janice), Craig Carlson (Cindy) and Terry Brock (Rich); his grandchildren, Caroline Hobbs (Jared), Natalie Martis (Matt), Magnus Carlson, Nathan Carlson (Faye) and Wyatt Brock; his stepgrandson Harold Ellison; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Jayden Hobbs and Evelyn Rose; and his cousin Richard Catherman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
