He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Styers and Jessie Styers (Gilmore); his wife Betty B. Spicer; his daughter April Kline; his great grandchild Robert U. Styers, IV; and his siblings, Rev. Ray Styers, Kenneth "Bud" Styers, Walter Styers, Betty Zerby, Phyllis Young and Mildred "Doll" Hosterman.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie L. Auman (Steve) of Coburn, Margaret L. Fetterolf (Butch) of Coburn, Robert U. Styers, Jr. (Lynnea) of Coburn, Barry L. Styers (Kathie) of Coburn and Marlin R. "Merf" Weaver (Shelly) of Coburn; his son-in-law Kennth Kline, Sr. of Millheim; his grandchildren, Kenny, Beth, Scott, Ernie, Lori, Lisa, Wendy, Robert III, Jesse, Macada, Matthew and Megan; and his sister Ruth Weaver of Bellefonte.
