He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hughes and Purlie Mae Thompson Hughes. He is survived by: his spouse Gloria Irene Cornia Hughes; his children, Janice Williams, Michael Hughes and David L. Hughes (Janet); and his grandchildren, Amy Guidi (Brad), Richard Williams, Meghan Ellis (Dan), Michael Hughes, Kimmie Augustyn (Justin), Julie Hughes and Jonathan Hughes. He is also survived by Nine great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
