He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Karl Schwandt and Elsa Anderson Schwandt; and his father-in-law Thomas Marx Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Christine "Tina" Marx Schwandt; his children, Kurt Finiewicz-Schwandt (Monika), Von Schwandt (Jessica) and Erin Medianick (Michael); his siblings, Fred Schwandt (Eleanor), Lynn Wolfe (Brian), Eric Schwandt (Joan), Sten Schwandt (Sandy), Catherine Quinlivan (Timothy) and Sally Baublitz (Rick); his mother-in-law Laverne Marx; and also, Mary Ann Bugge (Glen), Tommy Marx (Linda), Jimmy Marx (Janet) and Sharon Malasics (Rich). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
